The Only Mortal in Heaven — Episode 2: She Came Back After Dark

Episode 2 lets the AI show off its biggest set yet: the Citadel of Aeris, a city where angels and demons share the same halls. William learns his two guardians saw the car hit him and could do nothing to stop it. Then the angel rests her fingers on his arm, and her hand begins to glow. One touch did that. So what exactly is he? The answer lands like a punchline: 'Food.'

Both guardians get ordered out so the human can sleep. The angel swears she will return and explain it all. The demoness only smirks, as if to say we'll see. If angels and demons are real, where does that leave William? Night falls, the candle wavers, the curtain stirs. Asmodea slips in wearing red straps and a grin made for trouble. 'It gets lonely in here, doesn't it? Want to have a little fun?' He asks what she is. 'Quiet, William. You'll like it.'
